Once the most widely advertised whiskey in the world, Green River was known for its exceptional quality earning it the title “The Whiskey Without A Headache.” The brand was so highly regarded, Green River served as the official whiskey of the U.S. Marine Hospital for 18 years. After Prohibition, when whiskey was no longer considered medicinal or allowed to make any claims, the brand changed its slogan to “The Whiskey Without Regrets” however is still known to produce some of the finest bourbon in all the land.

This collection groups everything in the Green River lineup built around rye rather than wheat. Kentucky Straight Bourbon and its Full Proof and Single Barrel counterparts all use the same high-rye mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley, delivering that classic spice-and-vanilla profile at increasing intensity. Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey takes rye further, at 95% rye and 5% malted barley, for a true high-rye expression with more pepper, orange peel, and herbal spice. All are distilled and aged onsite at Green River Distilling Co. in Owensboro, KY, on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
